I decided to make a lemon pie for my brother-in-law Jerry, who lives next door. I was well into the process when I remembered my mixer had died. I thought how" hard could it be to hand whip the meringue"? Well you can see, I peaked before the meringue did. Jerry keeps our yards looking so pretty. Sometimes I think my sis and I don't think about the effort he puts in—well, he was busy the past week and away from home (and the yards! ) so the watering fell to us.
We diddled around and the next thing we see is dry yellow patches showing up across the yards. Not too pretty. That watering takes a lot of out of the day—and out of the studio!
Jerry's back, and the yards are looking soooo much better... :-)
